About the position

The Senior UI Developer will be responsible for coding and programming internet and mobile interfaces using various coding languages and scripts. This role involves collaborating with business areas to gather and clarify technical requirements, designing and coding complex software components, and ensuring high-quality unit testing and documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Work with business areas to obtain and clarify detailed technical requirements.
• Design, code, and unit test complex software components for new or enhanced digital systems.
• Produce appropriate documentation for software components developed.
• Maintain a strong awareness of current IT development trends and live systems.
• Apply logical and analytical problem-solving skills to software issues.

Requirements

• Expertise in programming languages relevant to digital user interface development, including HTML, CSS, Ajax, Javascript, XML, XSLT, JQuery, JQueryMobile, Flash, Actionscript, JSON.
• Understanding and experience of SDLC methodology and processes, including testing.
• Strong software problem resolution skills.
• Attention to detail and a logical, analytical approach to problem solving.
