About the position

The UI Developer position is focused on creating user interfaces for web and mobile applications using modern technologies such as ReactJS, React Native, and Progressive Web Applications (PWA). The role requires a strong understanding of front-end development principles and the ability to translate design mockups into functional user interfaces. The ideal candidate will work closely with designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of the UI with the overall application architecture. This position is based in Waltham, MA, and is strictly on-site, emphasizing collaboration and direct communication within the team. As a contract role, the UI Developer will be expected to deliver high-quality code within specified timelines while adhering to best practices in coding and design. The developer will also be responsible for debugging and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a smooth user experience across various devices and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop user interfaces for web and mobile applications using ReactJS, React Native, and PWA technologies.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement design specifications and ensure a consistent user experience.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues in the user interface and provide solutions.
  • Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and services into the UI.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in front-end development with ReactJS and React Native.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Progressive Web Applications (PWA) development.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
