About the position

The Front End UI Developer position at World Wide Technology involves designing and building advanced UI applications for web and iOS platforms. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features, as well as maintaining and debugging existing applications. The developer will work in a hybrid model, spending three days in the office and two days remote, focusing on maximizing development efficiency through the use of various JavaScript frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced UI applications for the web and iOS platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• Proven 5+ year software development experience in front end UI development using JavaScript technologies including React
• Experience with building and testing Angular UI applications
• Proven working experience in mobile technologies
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Angular UI applications
• Experience with MDM, Mobile Device Management such as Intune or MobileIron
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
