About the position

Genesis10 is seeking a UI Developer for a 12+ month contract position in the financial industry. The role involves designing, developing, maintaining, and testing software for the Enterprise Credit Risk team, with a focus on creating reliable web-based platforms in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and test software for the Enterprise Credit Risk team
• Collaborate with the development team and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of application solutions
• Achieve subject matter expertise quickly on new applications
• Create solid, reliable web-based platforms
• Work both independently and collaboratively to build next generation risk reporting solutions

Requirements

• BS or MS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
• 7+ years building enterprise-scale containerized web applications
• 5+ years of experience with Java, JavaScript, Node JS, HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Material UI, React
• Experience with CI/CD toolset (Git, Bitbucket/GitHub, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience building responsive interfaces
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library and Sonar
• Familiarity with RDBMS databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase or MySQL
• Experience in Agile development methodologies
• Experience building Java applications
• Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Containers, Microservices, Docker
• Experience solving complex problems
