About the position

Apexon is seeking a Front End React Developer with over 5 years of hands-on development experience. This role involves working on dynamic, mission-driven projects that support social causes, providing opportunities for skill enhancement and professional growth. The developer will be responsible for designing and implementing n-tier architectures, integrating APIs, and ensuring ADA compliance in applications, while also mentoring junior staff and leading technical designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and work with n-tier architectures including UI, business logic layer, and data access layer.
• Develop applications using TypeScript or ECMAScript (ES6 or latest).
• Utilize strong skills in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, React, and Redux.
• Integrate APIs with respective screens and develop Higher Order Components (HOC).
• Debug and resolve production issues with strong debugging skills.
• Write unit test cases using Jest, Enzyme, or Mocha.
• Ensure applications meet ADA compliance standards.
• Mentor junior staff and lead technical designs.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to understand requirements.
• Adapt quickly to existing complex environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience in Front End technologies.
• In-depth experience with n-tier and distributed architectures.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, React, and Redux.
• Experience in integrating APIs and developing Higher Order Components (HOC).
• Proficient in debugging and resolving production issues.
• Experience in writing unit test cases with Jest, Enzyme, or Mocha.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in code review and mentoring junior staff.
• Project experience in Agile processes.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and application lifecycle management tools such as JIRA, JAMA.
