About the position

The UI Developer role is focused on creating high-quality, responsive web applications using advanced development skills in HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS. The position emphasizes Test Driven Development (TDD) and automation to ensure continuous quality and optimal performance for end users. The developer will work with various JavaScript frameworks and tools, contributing to secure and performant sites while adhering to best practices in information security.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Implement advanced JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, Express JS, and jQuery.
  • Conduct UI testing and E2E testing using tools like Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, and Jest.
  • Utilize application bundlers and task runners such as Webpack, Grunt, and Gulp.
  • Focus on Test Driven Development (TDD) and automation for continuous quality improvement.
  • Ensure the security of web applications by adhering to best practices for information security.
  • Deliver mobile-first front-end experiences that are performant and user-friendly.
  • Deploy applications in cloud environments and work with the Adobe stack, particularly AEM.
  • Collaborate in Agile working models and contribute to enterprise security models.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in UI development with advanced skills in HTML5, JavaScript (ES2015/ES6), and CSS.
  • Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js, with experience using NPM.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks, particularly AngularJS v4+, and Express JS.
  • Familiarity with UI testing frameworks and tools such as Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, Jest, and Cypress.
  • Knowledge of application bundlers like Webpack and task runners such as Grunt and Gulp.
  • Experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and Foundation CSS, as well as CSS preprocessors like SASS.
  • Proven ability to deliver responsive, mobile-first front-end experiences.
  • Experience with cloud deployment and Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Familiarity with enterprise security models.
