About the position

A large client of Insight Global is looking to hire a UI Developer who will work in a hybrid capacity in Plano, TX. This role is critical as it focuses on developing and supporting automation for the IP Core Migration projects. This multi-year initiative aims to transition traffic from the legacy IP core to a new IP core, which involves various types of traffic moves that currently lack established processes or automation. The primary responsibility of the UI Developer will be to take the existing automation and integrate it into a user-friendly format for end users, ensuring that the tools developed are accessible and efficient for those who will utilize them. This position requires a strong understanding of both UI development and the underlying automation processes to effectively bridge the gap between technical functionality and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support automation for IP Core Migration projects.
• Integrate automation into a user-friendly format for end users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation processes as needed.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.

Requirements

• Experience as a DevOps Network automation engineer with container development (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in web application frameworks such as Angular, ReactJS, Vue, or Node.js.
• Understanding of web servers like Apache and HAProxy.
• Experience with Node-RED, Itential, or other low-code platforms.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jira, ServiceNow, GitHub, and Artifactory.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
