About the position

The UI-Front End Developer role involves analyzing systems flow and data usage, modifying existing software, and designing complex database interfaces. The position requires a strong focus on testing, maintaining, and recommending software improvements to ensure optimal functionality. The developer will work closely with team members to conduct root cause analysis, resolve technical design issues, and provide comprehensive support to internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze systems flow, data usage, and work processes to investigate problem areas.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.
• Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries.
• Design and update software applications, websites, data communication processes, and user interfaces.
• Test, maintain, and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
• Independently install, customize, and integrate commercial software packages.
• Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues.
• Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code, and perform unit testing.
• Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability.
• Resolve complex technical design issues.
• Develop technical specifications and plans.
• Analyze user requirements and convert requirements to design documents.
• Make good technical decisions that provide solutions to business challenges.
• Provide comprehensive support to internal customers.
• Achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues.
• Compile timely, comprehensive, and accurate documentation and reports as requested.
• Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience in Programming.
• Experience with a variety of internet technologies, techniques, and tools such as object-oriented languages (e.g., Java Script, HTML, XML, MVC, .NET, SQL, Team Foundation Server).
• Active TS/SCI with CI poly.

Nice-to-haves

• Security+ Certification (8570 Compliance).
• Experience with or knowledge of C#, Java, Java Script, CSS, T-SQL, MVC, .NET, SQL, and JavaScript Framework.
• Up-to-date knowledge of technological developments in the industry.
