About the position

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX and Atlanta, GA. This is a 12+ month contract position. The role involves working on the design and development of scalable solutions using efficient design patterns. The ideal candidate will be adept in handling non-functional requirements such as performance, throughput, and service level agreements (SLA). A strong aesthetic capability with UX design and development experience is essential. The candidate will be responsible for identifying improvement areas within the application and implementing necessary changes while ensuring high quality levels in all deliverables. Participation in mandatory training and cross-functional activities across teams is expected, along with a demonstrated enthusiasm for acquiring domain knowledge. The role requires efficient collaboration in a matrix organization, working closely with leadership in both India and the USA, and being actively involved in process improvements and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Work on design and develop scalable solutions using efficient Design Patterns
• Adept in handling the Non-functional requirements (performance, throughput, SLA etc.)
• Excellent aesthetic capability with UX designing and development experience
• Identify improvement areas within the application and work to implement the same
• Flexible in adapting to team requirements
• Ensure high quality levels in all deliverables
• Participate in mandatory training and cross functions across team
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and zeal to acquire domain knowledge
• Work efficiently in matrix organization, with India and USA leadership
• Be actively involved in process improvements and automations

Requirements

• B. E, B.Tech/MCA
• 7+ years of overall experience in UI development
• Angular, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3
• Hands on experience of Web Application development using advanced HTML designing and Java scripting
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Knowledge of banking domain preferably Credit Risk, Global Markets, Financial Risk, Treasury etc.
• Able to work on multiple projects concurrently
• Good understanding of all aspects of the application like rendering huge dataset, fetching data using HTTP and authentication
