About the position

In the role of Technology Lead at Infosys, you will be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and applying your technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This includes Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. You will play a crucial role in creating high-level design artifacts and delivering high-quality code for a module. Your responsibilities will also encompass leading validation for all types of testing and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. As a UI Developer, you will be expected to translate UI/UX design wireframes into responsive and interactive web and mobile interfaces, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance. You will utilize your expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and CSS extensions while sharing best practices that emphasize accessibility, performance, and reusability. Your advanced UI hands-on development skills will be essential, particularly your command of various design patterns for JavaScript application development. You will also need deep JavaScript development experience, particularly with Bootstrap and/or React/Angular frameworks. In addition to coding, you will be involved in troubleshooting front-end code, performing thorough code reviews, testing, and debugging. You will implement DevSecOps practices to support the Front-UI development lifecycle and demonstrate advanced knowledge of source control and build processes for front-end applications. Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end interfaces with backend systems is also required. This role requires a proactive approach to collaboration, as you will work closely with product owners and development team members in an Agile environment to improve product delivery velocity. You will contribute to the community of practice and share knowledge with squad members, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute as a squad member to design and implement products throughout the PDLC including coding, testing, and documentation independently.
  • Work with Product Owner and Scrum Master in an Agile environment to improve velocity on product delivery.
  • Collaborate with product owners and development team members to implement front-end POCs from concept to product delivery.
  • Act as a cross-functional team player to augment squad needs as required.
  • Contribute to the community of practice and proactively share knowledge with squad members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • 4 years of core Front-end development experience.
  • UI/JavaScript certification.
  • Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and CSS extensions with best practices emphasizing accessibility, performance, and reusability.
  • Advanced UI hands-on development skills including command of various design patterns for JavaScript application development.
  • Deep JavaScript development experience using Bootstrap and/or React/Angular frameworks.
  • Excellent aptitude to develop and maintain reusable and modular secured code components, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting front-end code and performing thorough code review, testing, and debugging.
  • Hands-on implementation of DevSecOps to support Front-UI development lifecycle and demonstrate advanced knowledge of source control and build process for front-end applications.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end interfaces with backend systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Moderate knowledge of Sitecore 9.x/10.x CMS.
  • Ability to develop Sitecore back-end development in .Net/C# and perform as a full-stack Sitecore UX developer.
  • Knowledge of collaborative interface design tools such as FIGMA.
  • Knowledge of interactive JavaScript libraries such as D3.js, HighCharts, etc.
