As a UI/React JS Developer at Matlen Silver, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our platform that delivers trade, position, and risk datasets to various internal consumers, including Trading, Risk Management, Finance, and Regulatory functions. This position requires a developer with a strong background in both frontend and backend development, as you will be responsible for the full stack of the application. Your expertise in React JS and Python will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions that meet the business deliverable needs of our clients. The current team is facing challenges due to a thin resource pool, and as such, we are looking for additional developers to help meet the demands of several business deliverables, including Voice Pricer, Glass 2.0 with platforms compatible for GM Spaces, and various UI/UX improvements. You will be expected to contribute to the design and development of these applications, ensuring that they are robust, efficient, and user-friendly. With a minimum of 4 years of experience in web technologies such as ReactJS, ES6, and NodeJS, you will be well-equipped to tackle the challenges of this role. Additionally, experience in building real-time applications will be a significant advantage. The ideal candidate will also have familiarity with desired skills such as Rust, WebAssembly, Docker, OpenShift, data structures, and WebSockets, which will enhance the functionality and performance of our applications.
