About the position

The UI/UX Design/Product Designer role at JS Consulting Solutions focuses on creating user-friendly interfaces and optimizing user experiences for retail eCommerce websites. The position requires a senior designer with extensive experience in retail UX/UI design, particularly for websites that sell tangible products. The designer will be responsible for creating UI assets, proposing UX recommendations, and enhancing sales conversions across global sites.

Responsibilities

• Create UI assets for retail eCommerce websites.
• Propose UX recommendations to optimize sales conversions.
• Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to enhance user experience.
• Conduct usability testing and deliver research insights.
• Build and maintain digital design systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Digital Design, UX Design, HCI, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design for eCommerce sites.
• Proven ability to solve complex design problems, demonstrated through an online portfolio.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for project management.
• Mastery of design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Clear understanding of WCAG 2.1 requirements and best practices for accessibility.
• Experience with eCommerce and social platforms in the beauty or luxury industry.
• Experience working with research, testing, and data/KPIs to drive decisions.
