About the position

We are seeking a dynamic freelance UI/UX Designer responsible for enhancing the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of our digital assets. The role focuses on optimizing usability, usefulness, and visual design in alignment with client brand standards, while delivering bold and creative solutions. The designer will collaborate with strategists, developers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality conceptual solutions are effectively translated into functional web designs.

Responsibilities

• Investigate user experience design requirements and develop a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
• Produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
• Design UI elements and tools, such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for digital assets.
• Test UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, designs, flows, and target links for landing pages.
• Collaborate with the marketing team and internal and external designers to create tailored digital user experiences.
• Provide advice and guidance on UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior.
• Maintain style standards on typography and graphic design.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
• Hands-on experience designing web interfaces, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups.
• Working knowledge of emerging user interface/interaction design standards and best practices.
• Proficiency in creating designs for a responsive experience across mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms.
• Strong time management skills with an emphasis on ensuring brand and design standards are met on every project.
• Ability to lead or participate in projects from the design phase through final testing and QA.
• Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and visual—demonstrated through concepts and prototypes.
• Creative problem-solving abilities, with a good sense of humor and the ability to stay calm and focused during crunch time.
• A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with development teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of technologies and software including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, and Android Design Systems.
