This role is crucial for ensuring that the new application has the right look and feel, utilizing modern Figma libraries and adhering to current design standards. As a UI / UX Designer, you will be responsible for strategizing and managing UI/UX projects, developing design prototypes, and collaborating with project stakeholders to promote innovative design and user experience. Your excellent communication skills will be essential in navigating the design requirements and translating them into a visually appealing look and feel through mockups, prototypes, and a working proof of concept (POC). You will work closely with a small team of front and back-end engineers to ensure that the solution meets the operational requirements of the business. In this position, you will be tasked with updating an older ColdFusion application to a modern JavaScript front-end framework. Collaboration with project stakeholders and vendors will be vital to effectively promote innovative design and user experience. You will also prepare detailed documentation on all aspects of the integrated enterprise design strategy and provide support to the development team for the project. Consulting with vendors, contractors, project teams, software development teams, and consultants will help establish and adhere to industry best practices and technical standards. Additionally, you will apply consistent fonts, colors, and element styles throughout the application, incorporate security and privacy considerations into the design, and ensure that the application is responsive and adaptable to different devices, screen sizes, and orientations.
