Responsibilities

  • Develop understanding and empathy for our users on how they value and interact with our products and services
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define user requirements and design specifications
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design ideas
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects
  • Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar tools
  • Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
  • Experience with design systems and component libraries
