About the position

As a UI/UX Designer at Tegan, you will design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance user experiences and elevate brands. This role combines creativity with strategic thinking to create engaging, accessible, and responsive digital products, shaping how users interact with clients' brands.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of user interfaces and experiences for web, mobile, and digital platforms.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with strategic goals.
• Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions and optimize the user journey.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools in UI/UX design.
• Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into effective design solutions.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and strategists to bring projects to life from concept to launch.
• Present and defend design decisions, always tying them back to user experience and project goals.
• Lead design workshops and client meetings to shape the visual direction and functionality of projects.
• Continuously refine and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
• Engage in open, constructive feedback loops with clients and team members to ensure projects are always moving forward.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centric designs for websites, apps, and digital experiences.
• Deep understanding of UI/UX design principles, including usability, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Experience in conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design solutions.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering creative solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with branding and graphic design projects.
• Familiarity with additional prototyping tools such as Hotjar and Axure.
