About the position

We are seeking a talented and innovative UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Wilmington, DE. As a pivotal member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating user-centered designs that transform complex healthcare data into clear and engaging experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and stakeholders, to ensure that our products not only meet user needs but also adhere to the highest standards of usability and accessibility, including WCAG standards. The ideal candidate should have a passion for improving user experience in healthcare settings and possess a keen eye for design.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using design tools such as Axure, Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure design feasibility and implementation.
• Develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and design systems.
• Ensure all designs comply with healthcare regulations and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and adjust designs based on feedback.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design, especially in the healthcare field.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on healthcare applications preferred.
• Proficiency in design software including Sketch, Figma, Illustrator, and Adobe XD.
• Strong understanding of UX research methodologies and user-centered design principles.
• Experience with data visualization techniques and tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design ideas.
• Knowledge of WCAG standards and a commitment to designing accessible user experiences.
