About the position

The Senior Designer, Interaction Design is a pivotal role that requires a keen eye for clean and effective design. This position is focused on creating intuitive and functional user interfaces that enhance user experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent UI skills and the ability to translate user journeys and wireframes into well-designed interfaces. The role demands a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to conceptualize ideas that address complex design challenges with user-friendliness in mind. In this role, the designer will participate in project teams, collaborating closely with senior staff as needed. The projects will vary in complexity, ranging from moderate to high, and the designer will be responsible for executing all visual design aspects from concept to final delivery. This includes working with UX teams to create wireframes, storyboards, and user journeys that effectively communicate design ideas. The designer will also present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the design process.

Responsibilities

  • Participates on project teams with support from senior staff as needed, working on projects of moderate to high complexity.
  • Executes all visual design from concept to final delivery.
  • Conceptualizes ideas that bring user friendliness to complex design challenges.
  • Works with UX to create wireframes, storyboards, and user journeys.
  • Presents designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in User Interaction Design or a related degree.
  • 5-7 years of prior experience in User Interaction Design or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of design and wire-framing tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch.
