About the position

The UI/UX Designer will be part of the Experience Design Team within the Online Division, focusing on creating accessible and engaging user experiences for a brand e-Commerce site. This role involves designing UI assets and providing UX recommendations to optimize sales conversions across global sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong design passion, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively while leveraging data for success.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships and operating rhythms with leaders inside and outside their core team to efficiently implement user experiences that are cohesive, inclusive, and well-informed by data.
  • Design with accessibility guidelines in mind and advocate for universal design principles across global products and with brand creative and business teams.
  • Collaborate on global experience design focusing on e-commerce with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers by understanding business needs and product requirements.
  • Translate user needs and product requirements into conceptual diagrams, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mocks.
  • Develop sound UX concepts, including the definition of customer needs, task analysis, and the creation of scenarios and use cases.
  • Deliver effective documentation and communication of design via clear visual presentation and detailed annotation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Digital Design, UX Design, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in UX, UI design for e-commerce websites.
  • Online portfolio to showcase ability to solve complex problems is a must.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence, able to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mastery using design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiar with setting up usability testing as well as delivering research insights.
  • Clear understanding of WCAG 2.1 requirements and industry best practices around accessibility/inclusive design is a plus.
  • Experience with e-commerce and social platforms in the beauty or luxury industry is a plus.
  • Experience working with research, testing, and data/KPIs to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Familiar with building and maintaining digital design systems.
