About the position

As a UX/UI Designer for BirchStreet's P2P SaaS product, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences that drive customer satisfaction and product adoption. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketing, as well as with customers to deliver user-centric designs that meet the needs of enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will possess high-quality design skills and the ability to work swiftly, facilitating prompt changes when necessary, while also participating in design activities across BirchStreet to drive further value.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to ensure proposed designs meet user needs, resolve pain points, and simplify workflows.
• Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate design concepts and user flows, iterating on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and users.
• Develop a cohesive visual design style that aligns with our brand identity, designing user interfaces that enhance usability and accessibility.
• Work closely with product managers to define product requirements and ensure designs align with business goals.
• Partner with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs, creating design assets to maintain design integrity throughout the development process.
• Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides and design patterns, to ensure consistency across the product.
• Monitor user engagement and product performance post-launch, using analytics and user feedback to iterate on designs and improve the overall user experience.
• Proactively identify areas of improvement with marketing content and participate in design sessions for BirchStreet's marketing website.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably for B2B SaaS products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design process and outcomes.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools and usability testing software.
• Knowledge of B2B SaaS industry trends, user behavior, and best practices in UX/UI design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to create effective design solutions that meet complex user needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Knowledge of user analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) to inform design decisions.
