About the position

The UI/UX Designer position at Alliance Technical Group, LLC is aimed at attracting a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in product design, particularly in the B2B SaaS sector. The role focuses on creating user-centered designs that enhance user experiences and meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative design solutions and will be responsible for leading the design process from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Lead the UI/UX design process from concept to completion, ensuring designs are user-focused and aligned with business goals.
• Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications, style guides, and documentation.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to continuously improve designs and user experience.
• Work closely with the development team in an agile environment to ensure accurate implementation of designs and resolve any issues that arise during the development process.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure products meet high standards of design and usability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, with a focus on UI/UX design in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Experience working in agile development teams and an understanding of agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for the user experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work, with a focus on product design for B2B SaaS.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with compliance and/or environmental testing is a plus.
