About the position

The User Interface/User Experience Designer at adMarketplace plays a crucial role in the company's mission to enhance consumer search experiences and empower advertisers. This position is integral to the ongoing platform rebuild, focusing on creating intuitive and engaging designs that meet client needs. The designer will collaborate with various teams to ensure optimal usability and contribute to the overall look and feel of multiple applications.

Responsibilities

• Help to ensure optimum usability and simplicity.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, data analysts, and sales to translate written business requirements into original visual designs and an intuitive user experience.
• Create mockups, storyboards, and user journeys to communicate design ideas to other team members and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the development team to translate prototypes into workable and efficient software.
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of UX/UI guidelines and best practices across multiple applications.
• Work closely with stakeholders to design and deploy user tests aimed at uncovering product improvements.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience designing consumer focused web and mobile products.
• Proficient with current UI/UX tools (Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, etc.).
• Strong, clean and simple visual design sense.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to evaluate quantitative and qualitative data to provide insight into user's needs and behaviors.
• Experienced working with cross functional teams.
• Attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with complex interfaces and data intensive applications.
• Adtech experience is a plus, but not a must.
• Portfolio showing past work and process.
