About the position

The UI/UX Designer position at a prestigious financial software firm is a critical role that focuses on enhancing user experience through innovative design solutions. This position requires a hands-on approach to user interface design, working closely with a team of skilled business analysts and developers who are engaged in test-driven development of software components. The designer will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces that meet the needs of users while adhering to best practices in UI/UX design. In this role, the designer will leverage their expertise in tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality design solutions. They will be expected to conceptualize and develop a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy that aligns with the overall goals of the project. The designer will also investigate user experience design requirements, ensuring that the final product is user-friendly and meets the expectations of stakeholders. The position is strictly onsite, emphasizing collaboration and communication within the team. The designer will need to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with developers, analysts, and managers. A passion for user experience design and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to design user interfaces for software components.
• Create and maintain design systems from scratch, ensuring consistency across the user interface.
• Produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
• Investigate user experience design requirements and develop a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy.
• Utilize tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite to create engaging designs.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on design goals and project objectives.

Requirements

• Hands-on proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS (SCSS), and JavaScript.
• In-depth understanding of CSS Design Systems and ability to create a Design System from scratch.
• Experience investigating user experience design requirements.
• Experience developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy.
• Proficiency in producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Blazor is preferred.
