About the position

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our product team in Dallas, TX, on a hybrid basis, working three days a week in the office. This ongoing contract position offers a competitive hourly rate of $40-45. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating user-centered designs for applications that address various challenges faced by our internal users, focusing on both mobile and desktop interactions. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong passion for problem-solving and will utilize UX best practices to help achieve the goals of the product team while enhancing user experiences. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their objectives and conduct thorough research to assess and comprehend the needs and frustrations of end users. You will analyze research findings to develop personas and user flows, and leverage your design skills to create sitemaps, mock-ups, and prototypes that will be shared with the product team. Additionally, you will conduct user testing to validate your designs, track user interactions with the product, and identify ongoing user needs. Working alongside engineers, you will ensure that your designs are effectively implemented, contributing to the overall success of the product. This position requires a proven track record as a UX Designer or in a similar role, with a strong background in UX research, interaction design, and information architecture. Proficiency in design software is essential, along with creativity and a keen attention to detail. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are also crucial for effectively collaborating with team members and end users.

Responsibilities

  • Consulting with stakeholders to understand their goals

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role
  • Problem-solving aptitude
