About the position

The UIUX Developer position at Innova Solutions involves a blend of design and development responsibilities, focusing on creating and implementing user interfaces and experiences for web applications. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the technical feasibility of designs while adhering to accessibility standards. The developer will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the customer-facing design system, utilizing various front-end frameworks and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and integration of UX designs into the JavaScript/Java codebase.
• Act as a designer-developer, assisting with decision-making for high visibility ongoing projects.
• Create clean semantic HTML markup that passes WCAG & ADA508 Accessibility standards & compliance.
• Provide development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and architects for successful implementation and component requirements.
• Remain current on user interface framework trends and programming techniques and suggest or research new tools and methods as needed.
• Design and maintain design files, wireframes, and mock-ups.
• Design and develop UI and UX interfaces and assist with new user interface testing or participate in usability reviews.
• Hands-on development on front end user frameworks (Vue.js, Angularjs, Reactjs, Jquery, etc.).
• Develop reusable and responsive, interactive patterns and code libraries that meet the highest W3 standards for HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Participate in conceptualizing, prioritizing, and creating strategies for the product UX.
• Develop well-structured and maintainable code that follows best practices and industry standards.

Requirements

• High School or GED
• Deep experience in front-end web application development with strong hands-on programming experience with at least one language (Java, JavaScript, React, VUE, Angular) on LAMP/MEAN/MERN stack is required.
• Experience with creating conceptual and detailed design solutions based on end user needs.
• Knowledge and software development with Adobe Experience Manager, Point, and WordPress CMS will be a plus.
• History of working with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with communicating and working with business and technology users to create holistic solutions.
• Skills, knowledge, and experience using end-to-end Human-centered design (HCD) techniques including design, research, and usability.
