About the position

The UI/UX Developer at IT Concepts, Inc. is responsible for creating visually appealing and functional user interfaces and experiences for applications supporting DOD SOCOM opportunities. This role involves translating design mockups into interactive web pages or mobile applications, optimizing performance, and ensuring accessibility across various devices and browsers. The developer will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and back-end developers to align the final product with design vision and functional requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Create user interfaces and experiences that are visually appealing and functional.
  • Translate design mockups and wireframes into interactive, responsive web pages or mobile applications.
  • Improve overall user experience by ensuring applications are easy to navigate and meet SIE and operator requirements.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and back-end developers to align the final product with design vision and functional requirements.
  • Optimize application performance for fast load times and smooth interactions.
  • Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve issues, ensuring seamless functionality across different devices and browsers.
  • Ensure applications are accessible to all users, following best practices and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Junior level: 0-3 years relevant experience and a BA/BS degree.
  • Journeyman level: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 - 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Senior level: 10 years of experience and a MA/MS degree.
  • Substitutions for education: Associate's Degree plus 4 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree; Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree; 6 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree; 12 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree.
