About the position
The UI/UX Developer - Mobile Specialist role at IOP is focused on creating intuitive and accessible user experiences for mobile applications. The position requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and involves leading the evolution and management of the design system. The designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality digital products that align with the company's design standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly Design Operations meetings to oversee the addition and enhancement of the design system through a structured process.
- Create interactive prototypes for websites, products, and components, and refine designs based on user testing, feedback, and usability data.
- Guide external designers, promoting our user experience philosophy, guidelines, and best practices for design system components.
- Define design guidelines, patterns, and standards, and develop and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Lead discussions, design reviews, and gather feedback from both internal and external teams.
- Advocate for inclusive design practices, ensuring that the system adheres to accessibility standards and meets the needs of diverse users.
Requirements
- Professional experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, UXPin, and AdobeXD is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
