About the position

We are seeking a UI/UX Developer to join our newly created Service Consultant sub-practice, dedicated to serving a mature and impactful long-term client in the financial services industry. This role requires teamwork and focus on advancing the client's agenda. Join us to make a meaningful impact and contribute within our innovative team. As a UI/UX Developer, you will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into responsive and interactive web interfaces, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance. You will contribute as a squad member to implement product features, which includes writing code, testing, and documentation. Working closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters in an Agile environment, you will help improve the velocity of product delivery. Additionally, you will contribute to the community of practice and proactively share knowledge with squad members.

Responsibilities

  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes into responsive and interactive web interfaces, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Contribute as a squad member to implement product features including writing code, testing, and documentation.
  • Work with Product Owners and Scrum Masters in an Agile environment to improve velocity on product delivery.
  • Contribute to the community of practice and proactively share knowledge with squad members.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS best practices that emphasize accessibility, performance, and reusability.
  • Hands-on UI development skills with React and/or Angular.
  • Aptitude to develop and maintain reusable and modular UI components, adhering to best practices and standards.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating data fetched from APIs into web interfaces.
  • 1-5 years of frontend development experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Some knowledge of Sitecore 9.x/10.x CMS.
  • Knowledge of collaborative interface design tools such as Figma or similar.
  • Knowledge of interactive JavaScript libraries such as D3.js, Highcharts, etc.
