UI/UX Developer

About the position

Sev1Tech is seeking a part-time UI/UX Developer to support the development of an internal solution. This role averages 12 hours per week, totaling 148 hours through the end of the year, with potential for continued work into 2025. As a UI/UX Developer, you will collaborate with a dynamic team, including a Senior UI/UX Developer who will provide guidance and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and understand user needs and behaviors.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to visualize design concepts and user flows.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and design standards.
• Participate in planning and conducting usability tests, analyzing feedback, and iterating on designs based on user insights.
• Assist in organizing and structuring content to create intuitive navigation and information hierarchies that enhance user experience.
• Contribute to the design of interactive elements and animations that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
• Prepare and maintain design documentation, including style guides, design specifications, and user journey maps.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to ensure design solutions align with business objectives and technical constraints.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and actively participate in team discussions and design critiques.

Requirements

• Experience and/or formal training and education in UI/UX.
