UI/UX Developer

About the position

Seeking an UI/UX Developer with minimum 3 years’ experience to work with an existing software development team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with established contractors and staff to develop applications for internal staff and constituents.
• Design, develop, and implement cross-browser and cross-platform user interfaces.
• Perform complex application programming activities using the latest technologies.
• Create scalable, accessible features that render effectively across multiple browsers, operating systems, and devices.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and developers to find the best solutions.
• Ensure components are fully automated with unit and functional testing.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing components, making them more user-friendly and enhancing functionality.
• Focus on improving the customer experience through better, more efficient component design.

Requirements

• 3 years of strong HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) skills.
• 3 years of experience with frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, Vue.js, or Svelte.
• 3 years of familiarity with Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, Material UI, and SASS/SCSS.
• 3 years of proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.
• 3 years of ability to turn concepts into interactive wireframes and prototypes.
• 3 years of experience using Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
• 3 years of understanding of WCAG guidelines and how to build accessible interfaces.
• 3 years of familiarity with front-end performance tuning and optimization best practices.
• 3 years of familiarity with Hotjar, Google Analytics, or session recording tools.
• 3 years of experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, stakeholders, and product managers, in agile/scrum environments and design sprints.
• 3 years of awareness of current design trends.

Nice-to-haves

• 3 years of understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services.
