About the position

As a UI/UX Developer at E-Solutions IT Services, you will be responsible for creating ADA compliant mobile and web experiences. This role involves working closely with full-stack application development teams and utilizing the Adobe DXP/AEM/Analytics stack. A strong understanding of accessibility compliance standards is essential, as you will be tasked with ensuring that all UI/UX designs meet modern web technology standards, particularly in front-end programming.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of UX designs into the JavaScript/Java codebase.
• Act as designer-developer, switching between design and development roles, assisting with decision-making for high visibility projects.
• Create clean semantic HTML markup that passes WCAG & ADA/508 Accessibility standards & compliance.
• Provide development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and architects for successful implementation and component requirements.
• Remain current on user interface framework trends and programming techniques, suggesting or researching new tools and methods as needed.
• Design and maintain design files, wireframes, and mock-ups.
• Design and develop UI and UX interfaces and assist with new user interface testing or participate in usability reviews.
• Hands-on development on front-end user frameworks (Vue.js, Angularjs, Reactjs, jQuery, etc.).
• Develop reusable and responsive, interactive patterns and code libraries that meet the highest W3 standards for HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Front End UI development experience.
• Experience with storyboarding tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and InVision.
• Experience in developing mobile applications and website interfaces.
• Back-end or core Java development experience is preferred.
• Experience with React and Vue.js frameworks is preferred.
• Deep experience in front-end web application development with strong hands-on programming experience with at least one language: Java, JavaScript, React, VUE, Angular on LAMP/MEAN/MERN stack.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge and software development with Adobe Experience Manager, SharePoint, and WordPress CMS.
• History of working with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with creating conceptual and detailed design solutions based on end-user needs.
