About the position

The UI/UX Developer will be part of the Digital Workplace Technology team, focusing on high visibility ongoing projects. This role involves researching, designing, developing, testing, and integrating UX designs into the JavaScript/Java codebase while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills and a deep understanding of front-end development technologies.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, test, and build UX designs into the JavaScript/Java codebase.
• Create clean semantic HTML markup that meets WCAG & ADA/508 Accessibility standards.
• Provide development and support for the customer-facing design system, including new components and templates.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and architects for successful implementation of component requirements.
• Stay current on user interface framework trends and suggest new tools and methods as needed.

Requirements

• Deep experience in front-end web application development with strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, React, VUE, Angular on LAMP/MEAN/MERN stack.
• Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager, SharePoint, and WordPress CMS is a plus.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to create conceptual and detailed design solutions based on end-user needs.
• Experience with Human-centered design (HCD) techniques including design, research, and usability.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with software development in Adobe Experience Manager, SharePoint, and WordPress CMS.
