About the position

The UI/UX Developer will be part of the Digital Workplace Technology team, focusing on high visibility ongoing projects. This role involves researching, designing, developing, and testing user interface designs while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills and a deep understanding of front-end web application development.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of UX designs into the JavaScript/Java codebase.
• Create clean semantic HTML markup that passes WCAG & ADA/508 Accessibility standards & compliance.
• Provide development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and architects for successful implementation and component requirements.
• Remain current on user interface framework trends and programming techniques and suggest or research on new tools and methods as needed.

Requirements

• Deep experience in front-end web application development with strong hands-on programming experience with at least one language Java, Javascript, React, VUE, Angular on LAMP/MEAN/MERN stack.
• Knowledge and software development with Adobe Experience Manager, Sharepoint, and Wordpress CMS will be a plus.
• History of working with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with creating conceptual and detailed design solutions based on end-user needs.
• Skills, knowledge, and experience using end-to-end Human-centered design-HCD techniques including design, research, and usability.
