We're looking for a talented and motivated UI/UX Developer to join our growing team and help us shape the future of conversational AI. Although Leashed.AI is an early AI start-up, our parent company has been established for 16 years.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that communicate design concepts and user flows.
• Convert design assets into clean, responsive, and interactive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React preferred, or similar frameworks).
• Conduct user testing and iterate designs based on feedback to ensure the final product is user-centric and optimized for usability.
• Maintain and improve our design system, ensuring consistency across all product interfaces.
• Maintain and evolve our online presence.
• Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other designers to ensure seamless handoffs and the technical feasibility of designs.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually engaging marketing assets, such as landing pages, email templates, social media graphics, and presentations.
• Ensure that marketing materials align with the company's brand guidelines and voice, ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide design input to support marketing campaigns and strategies.
• Support product launches by designing landing pages, banners, or other promotional content that showcases new features or products.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development, preferably in the tech industry.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or similar).
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• A solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about user needs and design challenges.
• A passion for creating seamless, intuitive, and visually compelling user experiences.
• Experience with or an understanding of voice UI design principles is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in creating or contributing to design systems.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git and design handoff tools like Zeplin.
• Experience with animation and micro-interactions (e.g., using CSS animations, Framer Motion, etc.).
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices in web design.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup or agile development environment.
