About the position

The North Carolina Department of IT - Transportation (NCDIT-T) is seeking a UI/UX Front-End Developer/Designer Specialist to enhance its ECM applications. This role focuses on responsive application development using VueJS, ensuring compliance with user experience standards, and coordinating team style guides. The specialist will work on creating and optimizing web applications, maintaining user experience across the ECM portfolio, and collaborating with various teams to establish a central repository of approved styles and templates.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive applications using VueJS.
• Coordinate and develop team style guides.
• Perform front-end development with JavaScript and CSS.
• Create wireframes and layout templates.
• Maintain user experience standards across the ECM portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with State and Agency standards.
• Create a central ECM repository of approved styles, templates, and examples.
• Mockup, design, and develop applications and sites for clients using VueJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work with on-prem SharePoint to maintain and build master pages, templates, and layouts.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in user-centered design principles, including the ability to read and generate wireframes, storyboards, interactive mockups, and style guides.
• 5 years of experience in effectively communicating, organizing, coordinating, and aligning standards between disparate teams into a comprehensive style standard and guide.
• 5 years of experience in writing PowerShell/C# applications using CSOM, PNP SharePoint, and SSOM to manage SharePoint sites.

• Experience in a .NET environment.
