About the position

Marsh is seeking a talented UI/UX Product Designer to join our team in the Phoenix, AZ office. This is an onsite position where you will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience of our products. As a Product Designer, you will possess a deep understanding of UX/UI best practices and technology, staying updated on the latest trends and innovative approaches in the field. Your primary responsibility will be to design the overall functionality of our products and continuously refine them to improve user experience. Your efforts will be instrumental in making our products more user-friendly and intuitive, ultimately helping to attract and retain customers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with both business users and technical teams, discussing technical concepts and devising solutions that meet the needs of all stakeholders. You will be expected to detect design challenges and develop sophisticated solutions, creating wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to visualize design concepts. Additionally, you will make strategic design and UX decisions for both core and new functionalities and features, define the right interaction model, and evaluate its success. Adhering to brand guidelines and utilizing UX/UI design patterns will be essential in your daily tasks. You will also stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and best practices to ensure our products remain competitive in the market. Responsibilities

  • Design the overall functionality of the product and continuously refine it to enhance user experience.
  • Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to visualize design concepts.
  • Make strategic design and UX decisions for both core and new functionalities and features.
  • Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand design requirements and project goals.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and utilize UX/UI design patterns.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and best practices.
  • Detect design challenges and develop sophisticated solutions.
  • Work with methodologies and processes such as Agile, Design Thinking, and User-Centered Design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4 years of related experience working in UX/UI roles.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design skills and experience.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Experience in application of UX trends, methodologies, and expert skill with UX tools.
  • Experience in UI component libraries and frameworks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and its best practices.
  • Knowledge of Responsive Design.
