As the UI product manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive and visually appealing user experiences that align with our strategic objectives and customer needs, while prioritizing and supporting the work of the different product lines and providing a cohesive vision across the organization. In addition to traditional product management tasks and duties, the role of a platform UI PM involves engagement with developer stakeholders. It also consists of the management of technical requirements and other platform components. It requires a keen focus on UX; best practices, quality, and stability to protect end-users who depend on the platform to conduct business. You will develop and execute a comprehensive UI strategy aligned with overall product goals and market trends. Deliver outcomes that will help businesses scale and reach their goals. Work closely with PMs and engineering managers to help in the development of all customer-facing features by helping the relevant constituencies and teams. Balance needs across multiple PMs and product lines. Create a consolidated roadmap with dependencies for the PMs (other products) and ensure visibility into the timeline, resource allocation, and approval or feedback from the PM upon work completion. Alert and communicate the timeline with the PMs if the project scope is increased during the development phase. Foster a collaborative environment by effectively communicating UI requirements, priorities, and progress updates to cross-functional teams. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to UI/UX design. Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark our UI designs against industry standards and identify areas for differentiation. Ensure clear and proactive client communication and lead product messaging efforts. Work with engineering to balance feature delivery with tech debt and streamline engineering efforts. Coordinate and oversee the implementation of accessibility initiatives across various digital products and platforms. Collaborate with design, development, and QA teams to integrate accessibility requirements into project plans and deliverables. Become the expert and champion for accessibility throughout the organization, advocating for inclusive design principles and ensuring accessibility considerations are integrated into all phases of the project lifecycle.
