About the position

The UI/UX Research Analyst will combine design, research, and analytics to understand user needs and experiences, playing a critical role in product and system design within a high-profile media company. This contract position involves facilitating design thinking workshops, synthesizing research findings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure user-centered design practices are implemented effectively.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate design thinking workshops and guide teams from ideation to prototyping.
• Create and document affinity diagrams to cluster data and identify themes.
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative research findings to identify key patterns and insights.
• Document session outputs, observations, and results clearly and comprehensively.
• Create detailed reports and presentations that effectively convey insights.
• Support group discussions and brainstorming sessions with strong facilitation skills.
• Collaborate with design, product, and development teams to integrate findings into projects.
• Organize and structure design thinking sessions with basic project management skills.
• Guide teams toward innovative solutions through creative problem solving.
• Ensure accurate and comprehensive mapping and documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in information and data synthesis, making visual representations of data for stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking skills to interpret data and generate insights from research findings.
• Proficiency in research tools like survey platforms (e.g., SurveyMonkey), data analysis software (Excel), and prototyping tools (Figma).

Nice-to-haves

• Background in Media or Entertainment.
• Experience with Miro, Figma, Jira, Confluence, and MO365.
