About the position
As a UX Researcher IV, you will conduct comprehensive research to inform the development of virtual and mixed reality products. This role involves collaborating with various teams to understand user needs and product performance, ensuring that the product team has a clear grasp of the user problem space. Your research will play a crucial role in shaping product strategies and enhancing user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research using qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviews, diary studies, and ethnographic observation.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineering, industrial design, product management, and other partners to understand user needs.
- Effectively communicate and present research findings to product teams and executive leadership.
- Develop and execute research roadmaps collaboratively and independently.
- Lead various research studies throughout all phases of the product development cycle.
- Contribute to product strategy, execution, and go-to-market plans.
- Manage research vendors to augment the work of the research team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in hardware UX research or virtual/mixed reality products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience with data analysis to support hypotheses.
- Strong storytelling skills to engage various audiences.
