About the position

The UI/UX & Visual Designer at INADEV will lead the visual identity and UI/UX strategy for federal customers. This role involves working on innovative design projects that leverage emerging technologies such as AI/ML and immersive technology. The designer will focus on user-centric design, optimizing IT solutions, and enhancing user experiences through collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Examine federal customer ecosystems to understand relationships between people, processes, and technology.
• Identify gaps in existing systems and align business objectives with user needs.
• Design and optimize IT services to enhance user experience.
• Analyze user needs and system performance to develop innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to plan intuitive and efficient IT systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Service Design, User Experience Design, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in service design, user experience (UX) design, or human-centered design roles.
• Proficiency in design thinking methodologies.
• Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research.
• Skill in creating customer journey maps and service blueprints.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
• Ability to translate user needs into effective service designs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
