The Director of Design at FarmMatch is a senior-level role focused on creating exceptional user experiences for the company's web platform. Responsibilities

• Design and implement user-friendly interfaces for the FarmMatch website.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement design solutions that enhance user experience.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies to ensure the platform remains competitive.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UI/UX designer, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing past design work and projects.
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts and rationale.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the food industry or with local food initiatives.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
• Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
