About the position

The UI/Visual Designer role at Marcel involves creating engaging and accessible designs for various platforms, including web, iOS, and Android. The designer will collaborate with other visual designers to enhance existing product features and develop new ones, ensuring that the design aligns with user-centered principles and the Marcel visual design language.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other visual designers to solution new product features and enhance current features.
• Create high-quality visuals from concept to execution across multiple platforms.
• Weave iconography, typography, color, space, and texture to help users navigate products successfully.
• Refine the Marcel visual design language and create innovative products that users love.
• Deliver refined designs that follow the design system in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional visual design experience, with a strong portfolio to demonstrate design aesthetics.
• Proficiency in Figma and/or Sketch.
• Ability to work on multiple features and deliver designs quickly.
• Self-learning and able to identify tasks without being told.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work collaboratively with other designers.
