About the position

The UKG System Administrator will oversee the UKG Pro Workforce Management application, focusing on managing the UKG environment, implementing new capabilities, and configuring various workforce management rules. This role serves as a subject matter expert to enhance business processes and improve workforce productivity while resolving technical issues and managing user security.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the UKG product suite and identify opportunities for expansion.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert on all UKG Pro Workforce Management elements configured in the system.
  • Manage integration of UKG Pro Workforce Management with payroll and other analytics systems.
  • Configure and maintain business structures, data views, control center, timekeeping, user access, pay rules, basic scheduling, absence management, and accruals.
  • Test fixes to ensure incidents are adequately resolved.
  • Troubleshoot time clocks and configurations.
  • Write clear, concise, well-organized technical documentation to maintain standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with business users to create data views and reports to improve productivity.
  • Work with HR/Business to identify new opportunities and roll out new functionalities.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the application roadmap for global implementations.
  • Identify training needs of end users and provide necessary training and documentation.
  • Serve as the key point of contact between HR, Finance, Payroll, and Operational teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience with UKG Workforce Management solutions.
  • 3+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience with Labor Categories, Attendance/Leave Policies, Shift Premiums, Shift Patterns, and Assignment Profiles.
  • In-depth knowledge of standard UKG Pro Workforce Management clock configuration and setups.
  • Knowledge of advanced scheduling concepts within UKG Pro Workforce Management.
  • Understanding of integration between UKG and other HRIS & Business applications.
  • Knowledge of business operations/processes and industry best practices for analysis, design, and documentation.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledgeable in current HR policies and practices, with the ability to anticipate future trends affecting the business.
  • Strong understanding of ERP, SaaS solutions, and other systems.
  • Understanding of system implementation, integration, and IT dependencies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of UKG Payroll & Benefits is a plus.
  • Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail skills.
