About the position
We are seeking an emergency medicine physician with an ultrasound fellowship to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work with emergency medicine residents and utilize advanced technology such as Dragon Dictation. The role involves a mix of clinical work and academic hours, providing a balanced work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Work collaboratively with EM residents, scribes, and advanced practitioners.
- Utilize ultrasound technology in patient assessments.
- Participate in academic activities and teaching opportunities.
- Manage an annual patient volume of approximately 50,000.
Requirements
- Completion of an ultrasound fellowship in emergency medicine.
- Board certification in emergency medicine.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Dragon Dictation software.
- Familiarity with academic teaching in emergency medicine.
