Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of ultrasound scans from basic to somewhat complex, including abdomen, pelvic, small parts, pediatrics, and musculoskeletal scans.
• Assist physicians in performing ultrasound procedures.
• Transport medications from the delivery area to authorized imaging areas.
• Provide patient education with cultural competency.
• Maintain a safe environment by identifying and reporting safety concerns.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program required.
• ARDMS OB/GYN or Abdomen certification required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech required.
• Experience in a hospital setting required.
