About the position
We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technician Floater to join our team in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients in various locations within Delray, DLRAY. The Ultrasound Technician Floater will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care, providing accurate and timely results to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients in various locations within Delray, DLRAY
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of ultrasound images and results
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of all patient information
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment in accordance with established protocols
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- ARDMS certification or eligibility to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Experience with a variety of ultrasound procedures and equipment
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and locations
