About the position

The Undergraduate Medical Education Program Administrator 1 is responsible for overseeing the administrative, operational, and financial aspects of the undergraduate medical education (UME) training program. This role involves coordinating educational activities, maintaining compliance with accreditation requirements, and serving as a liaison between various stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the program.

Responsibilities

• Administer courses in respective clinical areas in partnership with course leadership.
• Coordinate educational activities including orientation, student schedules, documentation, case logs, evaluations, simulation, course materials, and examinations.
• Maintain and coordinate data to comply with institutional, program, and accreditation requirements.
• Work closely with medical school affiliates to implement the curriculum and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Serve as a liaison between affiliate partners, clinics, and the community with effective communication.
• Contribute to the oversight of the program's operational budget.
• Process certifications for payment and manage related responsibilities.
• Order supplies for clerkship as needed and process payment requests.
• Coordinate rotations for visiting medical students within areas of responsibility.
• Participate in required meetings of medical school affiliates and Team Huddles.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Teams, etc.).
• Strong communication skills.
