About the position
Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking experienced Unarmed Security Officers for special events in the New York City area. The role involves monitoring access points, conducting security checks, and ensuring a safe environment for guests. Officers will be responsible for crowd management and maintaining communication with attendees while enforcing site regulations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor access points and conduct thorough security checks.
- Manage crowd control, including entry and exit points.
- Provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests and attendees.
- Follow access control procedures as directed.
- Maintain exceptional communication, hospitality, and interpersonal skills.
- Observe and report activities and incidents at the assigned client site.
- Make periodic tours to check for irregularities.
- Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for the site.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid NYS Security Guard License.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience in security or customer service knowledge.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Reliable transportation.
