The Underwriter position within Chubb Global Casualty is critical to the company's operations. A key aspect of the job is risk assessment, which involves identifying risk exposures, analyzing claims, and quantifying losses. The underwriter must possess financial proficiency, understanding financial statements and ratios that impact risk analysis and underwriting decisions. Additionally, the role demands knowledge of actuarial fundamentals, including loss trends and ratemaking, as well as strong marketing and communication skills to effectively sell and negotiate terms that achieve profitability. The underwriter will also utilize various systems and software programs essential for conducting daily business operations. This position involves soliciting new and renewal submissions from brokers, determining terms and conditions, binding coverage, documenting underwriting files, and handling more complex files and portfolios within the underwriting authority.

Requirements
