Responsibilities

• Develop and underwrite a profitable portfolio of Cyber Risks business.
• Structure tailor-made solutions considering underwriting parameters and policies.
• Monitor premiums, costs, and claims ratios to ensure long-term profitability.
• Evaluate appropriate risk premiums based on various factors including risk costs and reinsurance cessions.
• Monitor peer underwriters and assistants to ensure compliance with underwriting philosophy and policy.
• Advise and assist clients on insurance and risk matters to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain good business relationships with brokers and clients.
• Leverage networking opportunities to develop standardized underwriting policy and best practices.
• Produce presentations and marketing literature as required.

Requirements

• Proficient underwriting skills.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• General commercial and financial knowledge.
• Extensive experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of underwriting policy, philosophy, and practice.
